Steamgear Mash: A hidden gem on the Sega Saturn that was only released in Japan. It's a top down platformer/ shooter where you play as a cute robot. The low poly cutscenes are charming. Not a perfect game but a fun one nonetheless.

Final Fantasy IV released for the Nintendo DS on this date in 2007. A full remake of the classic SNES title with 3D visuals, a higher difficulty level, and new cutscenes, some of which were even voice acted. It later made its way to mobile and PC, where it is still available.
Luigi, although a main character is pushed aside for Mario. It's in cutscenes, clips & some game play. There's a clip of Mario stepping on his foot deliberately. Luigi is a bit of a goof, jumping mid air, kicking his legs. I'm goofy & have been pushed aside so others can succeed.

Some time ago, @werezompire and I made a pretty cool game called Breath of Death VII, for Xbox Live Indie Games. One of the first "cutscenes" I drew was a Phantasy Star reference; as I try to improve my pixel art stuff, I decided to redraw the scene.
