hrm... rushing definitely hurts my perfectionism. I wanna fix everything but I'm focusing on posting more frequently meaning drawing lots more! I'm still very new at trying to draw anime. So, I'll have more chances, right? Also, the milli pen in CSP is very interesting but weird.
To me it sounds more like the "policy perfectionism" discourse of climate delay, where the mirage of a "perfect" ("optimal") solution some day at the international level is used to justify inaction (or even counterproductive policies) in a country today

Couldn't sleep despite trying, so I went back to the easel and felt very frustrated about a current painting. I'm going to need to learn to reign in perfectionism... Thus, I've been experimenting with sketching to understand what's going wrong. Have a small JP, it's been a while.

So I've been writing a comic for a long time and it's almost ready to start drawing it. So I've been practicing actually doing comic/manga style art. I gotta let go of my perfectionism. It's going to be a grungy story anyway, it would work well with a scrappy style.

i'm actually really liking drafting stuff with my mouse like this. it helps me avoid injuring my shoulder, and it's also much harder for me to tunnel-vision with perfectionism.
Today's a good day for progress. Decided to seriously try to let go of my perfectionism & mix both my painting and drawing skills together. Basically make up for ones weakness with the others strength, and let go of the super clean look that I don't even like. Here's a WIP
