Maysketchaday it's over, but I want to keep sketching and painting as fast as possible, this one took me two hours, I'm going to keep doing more to have a less "collage feeling" in the drawings

2022!

I planned on finishing a sketch every *other* day for this challenge and I completed 19/31!

These types of challenges always show me that I'm capable of getting a lot more done than I think. Even with a day job I can find pockets of time for sketching✨

What I'm happiest with? Going from zero art in months, to making artwork everyday, feeling like myself again ❤️ Was hard to find the time some days, and we missed a few, for sure - I'm still happy I completed this the best I could.
Feels like an achievement!

It's become a bit of a tradition to do and redo a market scene each MaySketchaDay. This year it was especially satisfying to bring in old favorites and blend them with the new.

Some of the props are over a decade old now :0
