Here's Neco-Rusalka from dies irae, haven't read the VN, but I like the art and the plot seems interesting I'll give it a shot when I finish this infinite backlog I've created
There are a lot of beliefs about mavkas, nyavkas and rusalkas in Slavic folklore.
One of them is that rusalkas can steal the bodies of unbaptized babies from their graves.

The curtain opens for an anticipated play
He plays a Rusalka wrapped in the tides and in agony
It was a curse to go up and observe the unknown, unfortunately his heart had fallen in love with someone but who?
Finally the work ends until further notice

Traditional lore in Poland tells of water sprites, 'Rusalka', spirits of dead maidens who haunt the Earth, awaiting their chance to leech life force from mortals and other earthly beings #FairyTaleTuesday @FairyTale_Tues

Rusalka, navka, mermaid, suanase are all essentially the same thing. It amazes me how different cultures have so much in common.

We used to imagine rusalkas as exclusively female creatures, however, in Ukrainian folklore you can find tales of male rusalkas.
It’s said, unlike the females of their species, they don’t have a set of breathing-holes around the neck and their hair is always short and ginger.
