Beep beep. It's the birthday of the extraordinary Georges Seurat (1859-1891). Died at 31. Did so much. Obviously the big ones - La Grande Jatte; Bathers at Asnieres - are key achievements. But I'm crazy about Les Poseuses! And the views of Normandy! And the hidden self-portrait!
