The whole scene has a nice tense, almost horror vibe to it, with all the swirling darkness and Shiva's face appearing from within. If Duke's making that happen for effect, he's definitely got the hang of it now.
Also, this one line sounds oddly DKR Bane-ish.
Meanwhile, in London, Shiva, Cass and Duke are being absolute edgelords to one of Ra's' secret bankers.
I do enjoy Shiva's crooked grimace in this panel, and Duke and Cass' rigid, tense, "gotta look tough" body language.
Also, while I'll always gush about Shiva's design, Arkham Origins also featured what's become one of the most popular Deathstroke designs ever.

Honestly, looking back, this panel is kind of a really good encapsulation of Shiva's feelings for Cass (IMO). Her daughter proved strong enough to beat her and do it on her own terms, and has found her own path that she follows with confidence and conviction.
Just so you know that there is NOTHING I won't nitpick, I'm gonna say ONE thing I don't like about Lady Shiva's Arkham Origins design:
I wish it had some kind of inside lining for the coat/jacket.

Shiva's concern for Cass was what gave them a decent escape strategy. Without her, they would've ended up in who knows where instead of an easily-defensible position with other survivors.
So I'm not gonna say she saved everyone because this still *is* DCeased, bu-u-ut...

@Therealmanos In Post-FP, they started out a bit rocky but now Shiva's been trying to reach out to her in Batman and the Outsiders. It's a VERY welcome change of pace.
Cass buys the very last one without even checking what color it is, and it turns out to be a blistering hot pink that she's sure Shiva's going to hate.
Instead, it's Cass who grows to hate it after Shiva refuses to wear anything else for the next two months.
Finally, we get to the big reveal: Ra's has murdered his new League and taken possession of the aforementioned earthquake-generating alien ball, and in one fell swoop demonstrates its power while also punishing Shiva's betrayal. But something else happens in this page.
The one thing that nags me about this page is Shiva's badgering of Cass. In my last review I talked about how I prefer Shiva to break people out of their preconceptions and then see what paths they choose, rather than try to nudge them towards one or the other. That said...
So @ShinkouKyoukai has been going nuts with art of my girl and Shiva's NPC and I LOVE IT SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭
Shiva's design is amazing and peak Myrmidon design, imo. He deserves more love.
