Today we go to Staithes for the weekend and the weather might be a bit rubbish, but we don’t care we have our waterproofs and I like a bit of weather!

Once a thriving fishing community the village of has been described as ‘a jumble of whitewashed, pantile-roofed cottages clinging to the hillside, threaded through with narrow ginnels leading to the pretty harbour.’ This image shows it perfectly.
