Ideon: Be Invoked is my favorite Tomino work, building on ideas from Gundam and Zambot 3's conclusions to make a perfect finale. While the title robot isn't my favorite design, I have a lot of affection for its Guncannon DX look.

Zambot 3 episode 5 was the best thus far! A brutal fight that took lots of lives and the hatred towards Kappei's family is growing even deeper. Protecting the world from the enemy while simultaneously being criticized and seen as an enemy, it's a harsh yet interesting situation.

I featured Vinta's/ wooden kayaks with colorful sails originally fron Zamboanga City, my hometown, in the Philippines. I also turned 's axies into mermaids because Philippines also has so many mermaid movies and tv shows.

People might not realize, but Filipinos speak related but different languages (except Chavacano, a Spanish-based creole in Zamboanga). And there are a lot of languages, some less mutually intelligible than others :V
