Cletus Kasady, the man that would become Carnage, was introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #344. Created by David Michelinie and Erik Larsen, the comic was published in March 1991. Cletus was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the second Venom movie.
I often think about how I would do Carnage differently in Let There Be Carnage so I'm considering just doing it in my fanverse.
Cletus essentially pretending to love Shriek and tossing her aside ones he bonds to Carnage.

I feel like Flint is one of those Spider-Man villains where Peter is lucky he isn't smarter and/or more bloodthirsty. If you take into account everything Sandman can do he has the capability to be more dangerous than Cletus.
A KILLER CELEBRATION!
Cletus Kasady is the most notorious serial killer in the Marvel Universe, it's been thirty years since his first introduction! Thirty years of monsters, mayhem and murder - AND YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!

The solicit for Carnage 3:

Peter Parker does some background research on Cletus Kasady, discovering in his own words “what kind of demon am I dealing with?”
This plus what we’ve already seen of Carnage does an amazing job of setting him up as a threat.
Carnage/Cletus Kassidy
Carlos Alazraqui is a guy who I think could do pretty well with the type of maniacal character like Carnage and Cletus. He's done well playing crazy characters on comedy shows, and even some more serious shows, so I'd be curious to see him take on this.
I just realized that Cletus and the Carnage Symbiote being separated and creating two “Carnages” isn’t a new concept.
We got the same thing in 2018 where Cletus became Poison Carnage and the Symbiote became Red Goblin.
So this isn’t really that “new” of an idea.
What is everyone’s thoughts on the new Carnage stuff based on what we’ve gotten thus far?
I’m personally apprehensive for it.
I don’t like that they’re trying to separate the Carnage name & symbiote from Cletus when he himself IS Carnage.
But we’ll have to see I guess.
@7Spideycomics @Marvel Marvel is also getting rid of Cletus in the Carnage 30th anniversary special and new series.
I’m tired of this awful way of “celebrating” characters.
