#FolktaleWeek Day 6: River 🪙
Ever wondered why we toss coins into fountains? Some people think it’s continuing an ancient tradition of leaving offerings to water spirits!

🐸#folktaleweek day 6: RIVER ⛰
It’s said that the wise folk could control the weather and even bring around the north wind. This wise frog used the wind to lift timber’s during logging season! #kidlitart

#FolkTaleWeek2021 final day is #sky, and this one is full of star.

For #folktaleweek2021 I was inspired to illustrate a scene from "The Gigantic Turnip" story, a Russian folktale written by Aleksei Tolstoy. I especially enjoy the theme of #teamwork and how there's value in even the smallest among us 🐭
