Kinda skimped on the details, ngl.

Process for Aphelion 3.0 page 1. I like to jump around and work on different sections depending on how I feel. Not really fond of doing things strictly in order of sketch-> pencils-> ink-> grayscale.

Two pieces, two different shading techniques. The first I used sepia tone shading and the second I used grayscale. The 1st oc belongs to , my bae, my beloved Sega. The 2nd is Saalah

Grayscale reiteration. Felt strange grayscale.
Nothing to see here.
Learnt a few things about the effect line and how it behaves on angle.
Have a Great Night!

Recent personal artwork I did, and trial of digitally coloring grayscale. This time I'm only using Pilot Black Fountain Ink. Digitally colored in CSP.

To make things extra clear I swapped it over to grayscale.

Some are easier to spot than others.

I wanted to try doing grayscale. It’s a challenge for me but it’s kinda fun ^^ that’s also why it’s taking me so long to finish the drawing!

Colour Theory begins at black and white. Then Grayscale. You cannot understand colour until you first understand contrast.

Some concept work for a planned dnd character without his helmet.
He goes by 'Him' and no other name. Tall. Strong. "Doing good through bad means" type of guy.

Also yes his skin IS grayscale.

I try to paint without grayscale. That so save a lot of time.
Should I keep the brush’s texture or blend it up.
C&C Welcome 🥺
