@cyangmou There seem to be examples of historical riveted swords, especially bronze (Greek, Celtic) but also seems some Roman swords and daggers (Pugio) had rivets like that.
Most of these weapons don't really have crossguards but the visual detail is similar.
Don't know much 'bout it tho.
