My favorite bit of comicking in the book is this series. Hags are harassing the ship, wanting the return of some items. The player thinks it was just this random diamond necklace he found, but when it's not he has to retrieve it.

In previous campaign (Curse of Strahd) he killed one of the Hags from the Coven. Years later the remaining two haunted him down and turned into a hexblood so he would - in time - replace the missing one from the Three.

Lately I've become very much interested in hags, especially those from D&D. Mainly because I find their lore very fascinating and I love how there's a lot of room for creativity in designing one since they pretty much embody everything considered "ugly" which I find interesting.
Elune (NG half-orc storm barb) escaped the fighting pits of her past only to be turned into a squirrel by a coven of hags. It wasn't forever, though, and she eventually made her way down to Waterdeep for the pit fight scene.
