HOLLYWOOD STEPS OUT (1941) Tex Avery’s classic mockery of nearly every star in Hollywood. Excellent caricatures by Ben Shenkman, and dead-on voicework largely provided by teenager Kent Rogers. Amazing they got away with the risqué bubble dance bit.

It's been ages since I've watched this but after Sunset Boulevard the other night I'm compelled to revisit. Next to Blue Velvet, this is my favorite from Lynch. A twisty neo-noir that's a harrowing takedown of Hollywood.
