Something very different for me in that it isn’t a coastal scene and it is from somewhere close to home. 9 1/2” x 13” watercolour on Arches. A walk through Swithland Woods, Leicestershire.

A Flower Garden At Coleorton Hall, Leicestershire.
TELL me, ye Zephyrs! that unfold,
While fluttering o'er this gay Recess,
Pinions that fanned the teeming mould
Of Eden's blissful wilderness,
Did only softly-stealing hours
There close the peaceful lives of flowers?

In Leicestershire, in the Midlands, is a hag called Black Annis w/ iron claws & craving for human flesh. She walks the night seeking those out after dark. Finding none she'll reach thru open windows to snatch people. Art by Anna Pavleeva https://t.co/Z1VTsi8owB

I painted this little landscape whist sitting at a picnic bench painting my favourite view of Bradgate Park (Leicestershire). As you can see, it was an overcast day, but, the autumn colours were beautiful.

Happy with the frame, as I had colourwashed it and guilded in 24ct gold
