There's been an announcement to for a major update for Dx2 and the one thing that I love is the new outfits and the female protag getting a make over. New mechanics are coming as well. It's amusing how this game is slowly becoming more and more interesting narratively.

'Narratively better' is pretty valueless in a series focused on fighting when the climactic fight ends up being boring. Narrative should improve the fight, not hinder it.

And they make it easy to show when Hit is moving in timeskip. Lots of other manga also manage this (ie JoJo)

Just finished Samurai Jack.

I absolutely loved it. Season 5 had some of my favorite action I've seen in animation. There's just so much this show has to offer visually, as well as narratively and thematically.

The whole series was amazing.

10/10.

The pencils & inks are really, really well done in this scene 😳.
Love the use of pitch black, from the background, silhouettes, to the shadows on Mark. Sometimes half his face or his eyes are subsumed. It's a dark scene narratively, in which Mark is very conflicted, so it works.

Finished S1 of Sailor Moon. An overall fun time that peaks in the middle and peters out at the end. It's got plenty of issues narratively and visually, and my feelings on the ending are mixed - but still it's utterly iconic. I love the cast, OST and aesthetic. 7/10
