It's REALLY something I struggle with being a concept artist for so long. I love ~AMV style vibe shots~ but that's not the point of a board. It's to tell a story with shots that connect narratively.

So my weakness is narrative so I study wtf a shot says narratively a lot.

My initial thoughts about New 52 Earth-2! So to start off, my knee-jerk reaction to the trinity being killed off was negative. But then I thought about it a little longer and realized I was fine with it narratively, even if the execution could've been better.

like the morality of Mononoke is a lot more complex and the soundtrack bangs, it’s just this story in a different font, like this movie hits all the beats more concisely. nausicaa is san and ashitaka combined into a more narratively effective whole!!!

Beidou and Kazuha have such a well-crafted and narratively perfect friendship and I adore it so much even outside of a shipping lens. After witnessing his friend perish at the hands of his own ambition, it's so fitting that Kazuha wound up with a cheerful, uplifting leader who+

I used to be excited about this stuff and got attached on a real level with what they created. Also helped improve my art, and lead me to where i am today.

Unfortunately i just cant find that same passion here with MW2. It is weak narratively, with nothing to really talk about

I think it's much better narratively that Dinh isn't a Spartan III. We need more competent characters that weren't originally Spartans.

If he was one I feel people would think he's good BECAUSE he's a S-III and not because of his own merits and reinforce the idea that IV's suck

Hey guys I feel like I haven't posted about my active listings in a while. I currently have two pieces on listed for .23. Both pieces present a new direction in the nonster universe both visually and narratively. Tell me what you think!

When you do a play test of one of your games and decide to change combat from being a grid based system to being something a bit more narratively abstract like The One Ring's stance system because you realise as a GM you only run ToM so why design a game that relies on grids...

While not particularly nuanced or narratively dense, redEyes is a fun, edgelord read with engaging art. Interesting 'alternative Earth' setting with unique power armor designs being utilized in surprisingly tense scenarios.

I think a Flash trilogy with each film focusing on one of the three main Flashes and their respective eras could be really cool both conceptually and narratively

This dude both literally and narratively

Not sure if this is a hot take, but it’s my belief that Sonic, narratively, should largely just be handled like Lupin III and One Piece

Core cast of evergreen characters that never really change — with the thrills and excitement coming from new locales and one-off characters

the real tragedy of living in the end times is narratively unsatisfying finales

i just think there are way more appealing AND narratively connected visual design choices, you know? even if Menphina looks youthful-- that's not really what bothers me-- she doesn't have to be a miqo'te or anything but maybe silhouette? alluding to the Keeper sacred face paint?

aesthetically and narratively very compelling character tbh

I think one thing that's difficult with Reaper is narratively he's quite limited; too much of his POV in current would give away the mystery of Reaper, and very rarely is he allowed to reciprocate the care and concern we've seen from the other old soldiers. He's always closed.

And this was basically the life of Nemesis!
She is definitely narratively one of the more important characters in story, even compared to other contractors!
After all, it is because of her that in "master of the heavenly yard" novel, every soul is on the third world!

53) This one is a fact I have stated before. Cosmica, at the end of Dragon Ball - Abyssal was originally written to remain an Origyn forever. However, future stories within the Omen continuity called for her involvement. Thus, she narratively retrieves her original body back.

komaeda is gay: why it's canon and why it's narratively significant

The void created by this accruement of sins not only being a multilayered representation of what humanity has done but also the way it's quite literally a void that only consumes is just genius design both for gameplay to structure dungeons, but also narratively.
