I love it when villains have their own theme park. One of my favourite tropes.

I hesitate to differentiate my merfolk from humans with behaviors that "evolved" along a different path. I mean... they did, it's like comparing Pakicetus to Ambulocetus. But I've always been worried that if they ACT differently than us, it'll reinforce racist narratives/tropes.

Just saw the animated from below donghua series I talked about when it first came out nine years ago. It's excellently conceived, in terms of story, script, humour, characterisation, quality of Great anti-hero, breaking of fourth wall and conventional tropes. https://t.co/ZspqBXS8sr

SPY x FAMILY is probably the best manga I’ve read in the last 2 years. Hard to put down with just enough intrigue, comedy, action, and interpersonal drama to make it unique despite using familiar spy tropes.🕶

Working on my own VN, I think I'm following all the necessary tropes...

Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle - Chapters I/II [2018/2019] Maybe top-down is a strange angle for a courtroom drama but it lends well to the investigation scenes. Chapter II is where it really starts to come out of its shell with a unique identity built on parody of many anime tropes.

Do I have any followers from Louisiana, specifically New Orleans? I'm writing a character with that background and would like to solicit some thoughts on how to avoid falling into tired and/or bad tropes.

Recently discovered 's Hero High Zelda parody and it's an amazing mashup of zelda lore and high school tropes. I love the sheik design, the backwards hat sells it for me. ✨Here's some art I made✨ If she doesn't make the smash team, maybe she can try bball~

The team debrief logs helping push the narrative of the story >
One of my favorite tropes.

The "Will They Won't They" cliché is one of my least favorite tropes.

And when it's done poorly, it can be done REALLY poorly.

100 Fav. Games
Tokyo Xanadu (PS4; 2017)

Tokyo Xanadu is a super fun JRPG. I love that the MC is made in a way where he avoids a lot of potential tropes. The other party members are wonderful as well! Add in really fun combat and great twists, and it's a must play game!

Animaniac ocs: Prince Tulip and Lady Juniper. A couple that plays on various fairytale stories and magic tropes.

drew some D&D characters inspired by Greek hero tropes. I’m going to be playing the Satyr girl, a rogue named Calliope!

Osomatsu-san back it again with making fun of popular tropes. Not even magical girls and yandere trope could escape their grasp (ノ゚Д゚)
