The Memorial Chapel at St. Cadoc's, Trevethin, Pontypool. The postcard was sent from Oswestry by my great uncle to my grandmother just one week after war was declared in 1914. He was killed in action on the 15th June 1915.

On the 11th of November we remember those who have fallen in the line of duty; Those who never returned home . Today we will be observing a two minutes silence .
