2009 vs 2019. Not much improvement imo... just, using different programs and a larger tablet. I do have a better handle on file size though... lol

10 years ago I graduated from my arts program, moved to Japan, and pretty much stopped making art. This graphic promoting a student manga contest is one of my few pieces.

It took me a little while to find my way back to creating, and I'm so glad I did!

2009:I was only using a mouse and openCanvas to draw most of my art,never really practice anatomy,and I hated drawing couples.

2019:I became more stricter in improving my anatomy and coloring/shading.I`m still working on it,but I`m much happier with my work

I'm pretty sure the Bowser one is pre-2010 at least but the DK piece was from last year so maybe cheating a bit. Seemed fitting to put these two side by side though. Hey, I've gotten pretty good at drawing these Mario things! Hooray for progress!

Aaaaah this reminds me, I need to find more time to do painting studies. I spend so much time making comics but I also wanna spend more time getting better at painting too
