I tried another wool painting and I’m super pleased, it’s way better than I expected! Have I mentioned I absolutely freaking love the physicality of doing art with wool? It will come up again and again.

basically my method is
1. go slightly darker and redder
2. find where a shadow might be
3. blend the shit out of it

i use a lot of clipping layers before merging each layer. mostly use a mix of a modified csp oil brush + occasionally the 'running colour on fiber' blur tool
