I guess to an extent i have this same issue with anthro animals too where 90% of the time i draw them more realistically with clear thighs, calves and toes/feet. But a younger me always just simplified them and maybe sometimes that looks better? its certainly easier... IDK

Don't get me wrong, these are really amazing games but some people tend to think these words belong to their respective games and by extention think its a reference
The reason I say this is because I have noticed that both in Dragon Ball FighterZ and DBZ Kakarot, there are examples of the normals breaking to some extent when the jaws are rotated, but the lips are always moved with location instead of rotation, and so, they look fine. (2/2).
