I'm about 12h into Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, and my god it is already exceeding my expectations. The gameplay is ridiculously fun, the exploration feels great, I love seeing the progress of building a refugee camp on the island too. Just can't stop playing it!

Cloud Master by Sega released 1989.
One of the best horizontal shooter's on the system nice detailed graphics looks great, but fuck me it's difficult especially the final boss, I tried so many times to beat the last boss but failed back in the day.
