I have messed a bit with that relighter app on this drawing. It worked good on the face since I rendered it a bit more. I think it would be interesting to try on a painting 👀
@VoidDebris i don’t use it as often as i probably should but i like seeing the gradients i can make with the colours and using them with values (so like using left side of the “r” slider for darks, and then going to the right for lighter). the bi palette is one of my favorites to use

I'm thinking about maybe in Mervi's final arc combat outfit, she could have her hair tied to one side, and there's a magenta flower tied with it...also maybe I should try bringing back the dark lipstick or try something lighter.

I tried my best to edit her, cause I’m still disappointed she isn’t dark. Like they literally lightened her hair just to make the lighter skin color work, when they could’ve just made her skin dark in the first place.

Habu has yellow-green eyes and gray hair with a very slight pink color at the very end of some strands. She wears a lighter gray hoodie, pale down the center with dark spots and blotch patterns on the sides, sleeves and lower hood.
@CrystallineENV I would say try to add more shine/highlights. Here are some of my examples. ( I use two colors one that is lighter than the base color and the other either being white or something close to white)
@Alastor_Sasuko I tend to make them darker or lighter, depending on skintone and how "fresh" the scars would be. I also like to take into consideration what caused the scars, to come up with interesting shapes: was it a super sharp blade? Something rougher/more jagged? Or landing on something?
