Today we finish the OG Gundam anime. I’m not a fan of the mecha genre but I’ve enjoyed the show quite a bit. Excellent art, good pacing overall, and some characters I really like (some who are killed too early 😅).

The pacing has been wack to the point of feeling bloated, and the amount of new characters it tosses at you is nuts, but when it's good, it's fantastic. Also, it introduced us to The Bois.

I highly recommend this anime, it's a slow burn which not everyone will like, but the pacing is perfect for the story the are telling. I think the somber vibes and solid characterization is what Persona does best and this anime captures that.

Same for the action just after that. The spacings are very close here, and there are just a bit more lines on Jigen's arm and back. We really feel the exertion and strength he's putting into his motion, this gives a great sense of realism to the moment
