The translation of the dogs is to how they would look most realistically and as breeds we have domesticated.
Tramp is a street mutt. Him looking more like he lives on the street doesn't make him less adventurous and slick. His character intro in the trailer proves this also.

Umm so even if I'm a person who doesn't take art that seriously I really enjoy it and these days I'm trying to do some new stuff like watercolour & drawing more realistically .Right now I'm trying to learn about perspective and anatomy so I can draw more accurately in the future.
