#Williamsonia and #Weltrichia reconstructions for another plate. These are the female and male reproductive organs of (some) #bennettitales. #paleoart #palaeobotany #paleobotany #plants #SciArt
Some beautiful reconstruction images sent across by Iain. Truly amazing ancient structures!
Reconstruction of the probably Pictish outpost of Dundurn, Perthshire, by Peter Dennis, and the site today. Perhaps a key stronghold of the Pictish kingdom of Atholl, it was torched in 682. #HillfortsWednesday
@vergolophus It's called a paleo-meme when people do that. Example: giving theropod dinosaur lips or feathers. Right now, the big paleomeme for reconstructing t rex mostly fatherless and with lips.
Yana's sebaciel arts??? The way she single handedly reconstructed and redefined what it meant to convey and obtain the concupiscent anomalistic clearance showing us that divine idiosyncrasy is ebulliently inevitable while simultaneously substantiating what its meant to be
A reconstruction of the progenitor from a warped reflection.
A human disguise to walk among humans. The lens shows the truth however, so Zeo must avoid mirrors, and people with eyewear or spiritual attunement. Only the head appears human, everything else must stay hidden.
#FossilFriday A new study on one individual of Parasaurolophus finds that it must have suffered some serious (yet healing) injuries to the ribs, hip, and face. The paper has some great discussion about reconstructing the necks of hadrosaurs [🎨: Marco Auditore, Marzio Mereggia]

@FurFable @AxelSauro Yup! That one was done by blue rhino! It also seems like the knobs on the jaw vary between reconstructions too, but the consensus seems to be those big jugal bones protruding.
I plan to do updates on my reconstructions later down the road, but this was definitely fun to try out.
So #FurriesInSTEM is trending... I'm Callie, an #NMR spectroscopist! I currently study non-uniform sampling, reconstruction algorithms, and the application of a novel transform on time-domain data. I'm working on my PhD currently, hopefully done in the next few years!
@fishboy86164577 @JoshuaTedder3 XD Not gonna lie, the over-the-top reconstruction reminds me a little of this design I did:
@ibgwiraga Not based on any recent muscle study that I am aware of. (muscle reconstructions @OliverDemuth @Sketchy_raptor)
Naboo will likely appear in #TheMandalorian S3
N-1 Starfighters have been reconstructed for the show

My attempt at recreating a classic 1993 promotional poster for Jurassic Park with my "updated" dinosaur reconstructions from my article. The original text at the bottom of the poster fit this concept suprisingly perfectly. I'd sell prints of this if Universal were't so brutal.
Oh and those sheets hanging on the balcony...? We modeled them on the same bedding we see in use(...) elsewhere at Pompeii (for example in the House of the Vettii). #Pompeii #reconstruction
Sneak peek of a muscular reconstruction for a rather...
...formidable predator I’m doing
