어렸을 때 읽은 SF소설의 표지가 보이길래 찾아보니, 원제는 The Cybernetic Brains, 사고로 죽은 사람이 뇌만 똑 떼다가 고생하는 이야기에 어울리는 표지인데, 나중에 밑도끝도 없는 색기버전 표지도 나왔다.
국내에 나온 버전은 일본 '합성괴물'의 표지를 사용(?)했는데 저 일러스트가 좋았어.
