(content warnings out the ass for both of those comics though, ill give a list if you need one) take this page as an example- not one of these bubbles was thrown in as an afterthought. there's space dedicated to them in each one of the panels' composition. chef kiss

Completed another illustration for Indie Conquest's Free Pack 3. These two barbarians are inspired by Philip Kluverin's 1616 engraving entitled German Warriors. I re-positioned them to create a different, and hopefully more appealing and dynamic, composition. Thoughts?

I haven't drawn in this style for a long while. I was going to do Proto Man and Bass but I couldn't come up with any interesting complimentary poses that would suit the composition.

MULAN is pretty brilliant in its staging and composition. Especially the battle sequence:

Felt like drawing Rosa/メイ, then Hilda/トウコ, then Mewtwo/ミュウツー and here we are. Mewtwo probably could have been its own image, especially since it's not even native to Unova, but whatevs. It still works well to add a little more to the composition.

"Today we have exactly the same working style, which allows us to create the pencil artwork together, working on the same canvas. That's the most important stage of the process, where we define the idea and composition." https://t.co/ZuMTu6VoSQ
