I mean, I guess you could call Strike Witches/World Witches a Yuri series.
I mean Yoshika Miyafuji & some other characters are kinda coded that way.
Characters are based on real (& famous) military figures (Ex. Franco Lucchini & Chuck Yaegar), but that doesn't play into anything
