I then find as many references as I can, both from the style I'm imitating and the (in this case) hairstyle I want
I use a brush that looks similar to the style's lineart.
After I finish the lineart, I fill any gaps in the background by copypasting and using the copy stamp brush-

This is a drawing of an OC. I'm also experimenting with things here like coloring the LineArt. It makes the drawing look more soft. Not sure I will always do this but I like how this turn out. 😊

So I've wanted to mess around with brushes in hopes of finding something I can use to give a drawing a spookier lineart. Tried the procreate pencil brush, not really a fan.
