I don’t write particularly deep, intellectual tweets here but if there’s one character whom I want to a character analysis on…it’s actually Si-eon from Love For Sale. Love For Sale is one the manwhas I can easily envision as a “realistic” “slice of life” romance k-drama.

How the design came to be! Originally I wanted more color, but when transitioning that into the sprite it looked odd and cluttered. Shrinking the color count was certainly the right call and still looks as vibrant as I envisioned!

Thank you for hosting! One of my favorite tips is to make a quick "color sketch" so I have a rough idea of the color scheme. Especially useful when using traditional media since it is more difficult to change later, but useful for envisioning the final piece in digital as well!
