2) really tough choice. I normally always start with water types, but johto was always the exception and even now it still is sjkfnsdkj

Johto is a tie.

Azumarill is a tiny little powerhouse with good typing

Tyranitar is a Mf goon 😈

This is a very old style of mine that I haven't touched in years, but I started with Pokémon Crystal — Johto, and I felt nostalgic.

Cheers Pokémon, for 25 years!

Seeing a lot of people wonder why Cyndaquil was chosen alongside Oshawott & Rowlet, as those seem obvious picks for the game's setting given they evolve into a samurai and an archer. My guess: Johto is the region with the closest ties to Japan's past, and required representation.

Day 88:
🎶🎵 Oooohhhh it's a windy and sunny day 🎶🎵 with the lazy who was drifting along enjoying the sunlight

Its tail is so powerful that it can use it to grab a tree branch and hold itself up in the air.

If, by some ungodly luck, tomorrow drops either or from Pokemon & then reveals I might actually just fucking faint.

Really hard to temper expectations despite telling everyone else to.
