Think about it this way. In almost every BL I've read there is a "misunderstanding" subplot that involves a rival getting close one of the pair, usually the top. Think about it in terms of tropes and hopefully it'll be easier to digest if it comes in the near future +

D&D 5e Samurai is extremely boring and one-note as it's based on Kurosawa tropes and not on anything historic. Which ironically is more well rounded and cool. Would absolutely remake it from the ground up when/if I have time.

This was a "mech" armor design for MtG's Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. I was going for a non-mechanical construction using ropes and more natural materials which were powered by magic. Pretty fun to try and solve. #magicthegathering #kamigawaneondynasty
I think this is why I've always gotten positive responses for #StarWarden. I've just been earnest. Poured my passion into the story and just played all the tropes straight. It resonated with people. Just like Lodoss War. Because at both stories' core they are what they are.
