Beta Espeon:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, instead of happiness, Eevee evolved into Espeon with a Heart Stone -- a scrapped item also used for Xatu and Politoed.

Warlock Class Front Idle

Oh dear lord this was so much more of a project than I realized! This is a pretty big sprite, believe it or not, at 128 x 192.

Here's an example. see how the tail and head move? that's Tweening animation. the head and tail are like an object being moved each frame without being redrawn. Though, because of the resolution of the sprite, that's why the pixels change on the animation in post production.

Yet another sprite, and again a CS one, just like the Gungir!

Beta Politoed:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Poliwhirl evolved into Politoed with a Heart Stone -- a scrapped item also used for evolving Natu into Xatu, and Eevee into Espeon.

I was given: rhythm heaven

Reply and I'll give you a series to pick four of your favorite characters from!

Snappy trio is possibly my favorite game in the series, I made this T posing fillbot Sprite, munchy monk, and that guy. He has a chameleon and japanese delinquent hair. https://t.co/LCZ3MNkTbY

Beta Miltank:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Miltank was originally a very chonky and unhappy cow -- but she ended up getting revised into a slimmer, pinker, happier Pokemon.

Beta Hoppip:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Hoppip's original name was Haneko, meaning "Leaf Cat" -- which made sense, considering its original design was much more cat-like.

And another shout out to for purchasing an animated sprite, it helped me learn quite a bit more about actually animating sprites (and that I've got a lot more to learn)

More D&D stuff. Scary fairy is my characters adoptive mother and the other is my characters sprite, Smudge!

Beta Elekid:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Elekid was originally named Erebebii, which in Japanese means "Electric Baby." He was also male-only and evolved at level 15, rather than 30.

HERE'S the sprite, finally. Pretty hastily done, so it may not be 100% accurate.

Following up with my remix for Cray’s sprite, here’s the ever so lovely Goddess sorceress, Deis!

Beta Octillery:

Just like beta Hydreigon, Octillery was originally based on a tank. For more info about the tank-based Hydreigon family, watch this video: https://t.co/gSs5ok3FHz

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, instead of Dark, Umbreon was originally Poison-type and evolved from Eevee via Poison Stone -- an item that ultimately got scrapped.

Beta Porygon2:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Porygon2's original design was based on a lion. But he ended up getting revised into basically just a smoothed-over Porygon 1.

Something not enough people appreciate is how in DPP every Pokémon got a extra frame or two when coming into battle! I personally don’t really like Vulpix’s gen 4 sprite, it just doesn’t seem very true to character, but the frame of it sitting up I just 💓💞💕dokddjjdjrjdjd💕💖💘

Beta Marill:

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Marill was a pink Water-type who didn't evolve -- Azumarill didn't exist yet. That's right, before he was Pikablu... he was Pinkachu.
