I once wanted to make an interactive data globe, with comp screen surface, for schools. So you could teach visually about where certain dinosaurs existed, live meteorology, money flows, cultures, how people travelled through time. Time stamps etc

South African Radio Astronomy Observatory's MeerKat radio telescope image of the galactic center region. In the original release the brighter parts are 'clipped' and superimposed over the fainter parts in a visually confusing manner. Not perfect but I think my try looks better.
