My Heart is Laughing by Rose Lagercrantz, illustrated by Eva Eriksson

The stories and illustrations are delightful. All the charm of a great story and extremely relatable to a kid.

Super fun book, written by Susan Woods. About a young girl that discovers fairies living in her garden. The fairies invite her to play and help her to shrink down to their size and the adventure begins.

I’m honestly not sure whether this book has more adult or kid fans. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve read it. Doesn’t matter— it’s still funny.

This is a lovely book. I think it can be very useful in the hands of the right parent. A boy wakes up feeling worried about school. His mother helps him feel better and teaches him about mindfulness.

Some cat poses for the book. Children’s books making is actually a serious adult business. Had to go through a lot of designs until I was happy with that seemingly simple look.

⚡️Some books we read, and some we crawl inside to walk among the characters. 💕📚
