Today I gave guards things to say, including advice for new players. It so happens that the guards in my default seed are named Capp and Pepp. I love them.

I am in amazed as of how honest and realistic does this game provide to the players. Kudos to the makers as how this game insipired from the 80's anime, retro art and fashion. Personally, I am a fan of that golden entertainment era and playing this made me in love.

Besides having a lot of practice I'm experimenting with a technique where I paint the shapes with a stroke effect applied to the layers. This allows me to skip the sketch and lineart phase. Here are two process steps.

For fighting games to continue thriving I think it's important to recognize that all levels of skill are valid. There shouldn't be a rigid dichotomy between casual & competitive players. Fighting games were the most mainstream games in the 90s! It's possible to please everyone!

I do a variety of art types, but for digital, I love my vector art pieces (all hand drawn vector layers...so many layers😭) like the mongoose and Expressive Kelly pieces. I also love painting halo stuff like the grunt paper ornament or multilayer lit piece I hand painted.
