@RRosdreguis They were published by SEGA, not IDW. The obscure easter eggs were artistic nods to Archie that were snuck in by Ian Flynn & Adam B. Thomas. Fans however misinterpreted them to mean that Sally & B. Rabot were canon. Flynn had to do damage control & clear up that misunderstanding.
Even from the very first IDW stories with the Forces prequel comics, Ian wasn't letting Sally go.
