I can agree with that in terms of mass produced low-hanging-fruit merch as quick money grabs.

Though as a broad concept, remixing ideas and IPs can still introduce interesting things we may never have considered.

I find it intresting that in dev interviewes they say that a lot of time was spent on Jak's design to make him universaly appealing (mixing anime, american cartoons & a slight 2000s edge), but Daxter ended up looking way more unique & memorable.

Most of the time, I use brushes without the color mixing function that are included in CLIP STUDIO from the start, with reduced transparency. (I use translations!)
