Cross Code is an absolutely phenomenal SNES-style Action RPG wherein you use WASD and the mouse to go around solving puzzles and kill shit. It's so polished that it's practically greasy. Extremely good game.

First genuine Turn-based RPG was Breath of Fire 1 for SNES!

However, my first Action RPG was the lesser known Crystalis (God Slayer) for the NES.

Imagine Zelda but faster paced and psuedo-bullet hell. I'm so glad they put it on the switch virtual console. Try it sometime!
