this is one of my favorite Uncanny X-men arcs. The X-Men in Savage Land, art by Alan Davis... and Betsy's resurrection after years dead. the issue she is was murdered by Vargas made me very sad when I read it, so reading her return was cathartic

Yep, the story embraces fighting for friends and family since the beginning, it is named after the guild after all.
Also the stronger characters are constantly going out on side jobs and deal with life and death battles during the arcs often which is training in of itself.

The arc was amazing,I still can't believe the arc was only 8 ep. To me it felt like I watched about 50 ep.Gintama makes other anime arcs with around 50 episodes look ridiculous to me,other anime take around 50 ep to build an arc well and Gintama only needs 8 ep
