This is the style I may be going for in my comic. I’m not using color for times sake (except maybe I’ll use it every once in a while for emphasis) nor will I do any shading on the characters

The emphasis on close up eye shots and wide angle shots with monochromatic color particularly feel Shinbo esq. Obari really loves the monochrome backgrounds( often back-lighted) with figures obscured by black shadow, they show up everywhere.

Thanks! i do actually have something similar planned for this scene here. It just so happens to respond very lightning-like to a simple change of the emphasis bits from 000 to 100. Might make a demo of that some other time to demonstrate.

Her father's speech is completely different from the manga. While I do enjoy the manga speech, I vastly prefer the anime one. I think there's more emphasis on how much he cared about Honey as a daughter. That's just me. It's a beautiful scene.
