ChiChi left home to find Goku at the Tenkaichi Budokai. Even if it was a story for the anime where ChiChi looks for a kidnapped Gohan and couldn’t find him, it would’ve been more realistic and insightful into ChiChi’s character than sitting at home waiting.

I just realized that Aknosom is an umbrella yokai. Monster hunter can be really fun franchise that probably includes speculative evolution in their world building too. Not to mention other recent new monsters are basically semi-realistic takes on japanese yokai/monsters...
