Just finished watching "Black Lagoon."
It's now one of my favorite Action/Gang/Mafia series I've ever watched. 2 seasons is not enough...
Amazing storytelling and writing. Some episodes got so dark, it got me depressed for a bit...

I think it would help alleviate some of that envy you're feeling if you western capeshit writers tried to create more appealing comics. Hint: It has less to do with sexualized art and more to do with the writing. Sexualization isn't a selling point of the most popular manga
