I’ve been using the Lineart of this as my pfp on Discord since thanksgiving. So I colored it!
I prefer to do monochrome—manga has poisoned me. But pfps look better w/ color.

I'll add I do believe the lines are being blurred between the two mediums. 12-15 years ago you would have never seen many speech balloons in picture books and now you see them in lots of books
