So i Learned about a program called Inkscape earlier today and decided to test it out and here's what i came up with! while i might not have a drawing tablet atm at least i can take some of my designs and create something with them. might rework this later on.

I absolutely love Inkscape - it's a little fiddly to start with but I've found that you can be extremely creative with it. (Made the attached figure in about 10 minutes).

This is my card rendering pipeline:
1) Each card is described in XML.
2) The card data is transformed into SVG using 2000 lines of handwritten template code.
3) A batch script uses Inkscape to generate cards in different image formats.
