Just gave her a different outfit (With both a red and a blue variant of it, as I like both) and changed her face and nose shape, Made the nose and face a lot squarer and sharper, before they were kinda round which I felt didn't fit her character

And finally, Slushiphant. Despite the simple shape, this was probably the hardest. Getting the trunk and... things above the trunk in just the right spot was really challenging, and positioning the mouth underneath it was even harder

we all kno the 90s aesthetic is visually nice but what i also love abt it is that objectively speaking the art *IS* rly good in terms of shape, line, colour, anatomy which has the right amt of simplicity & isnt overly detailed/rendered & i think thats peak art imo

The hair is a nightmare and the head has an awful shape, really not happy at all with this one but the legs and how the arms connect to the body are probably the best I have done up to this drawing, maybe since so far.

Looking at the MHA controversy and then seeing Maruta's name as written, I feel it's a really unfortunate coincidence
Maru(Round) ta(Fat) is a name calling to his round body shape, and it backwards is read Taruma similar to Daruma which are a doll for luck and granting wishes

Thought about your point a little and wanted to expand on it. I think the simpler the eye design/style, the simpler you need to present it, so ppl ganging up with Anatomical Critique when it isn't warranted need to put on the breaks. Art is about shape, fuck.

I'll go ahead and add Heart Hippo then. He could do punches and kicks and throws and Counter using is belly. He cant fly too long.
If he had a Final Attack, he'd throw his opponent upwards, wave his arms in a heart shape, then whack them into the moon, leaving a heart shaped hole
