This is why the show is bad!

They all have the same color scheme, same outfits, and face shapes, body types..
Its as if vivziepop didnt know any other colors than red, yellow and white

Also bows. A ton of it.

Gonna start posting stuff. Here's Taur from but rethought somewhat from my original design. Old Taur is fun but this edit has better shapes, I think.

Tried doing some diffrent shading, It still needs a bunch of work but I think this is the direction I wanna go in 💕 Also did some different mouth and eye shapes, will be doing nose and faceshapes eventually 💕 Hoping this will stop me from reverting back to the same faces 💕

a gathering and ordering of a collection of memories. Half seen, overlooked fragments, fleeting moments. It’s where marks, surfaces, shapes, lines and textures coalesce. Entirely process orientated and risky, it becomes a dialogue with the materials.

inch resting stuff....
I need to vary my face shapes, but I already knew that hgkjg

In conclusion, the challenge has basically taught me what I already knew about my style: BIG HEAD AND BIG EYES IS THE ONLY WAY, 3/4 IS THE BEST ANGLE, I LOVE EYE SHAPES, AND I SHOULD PROLLY CONSIDER DRAWING HUMANS EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE

Remember Reggae Pothead from yesterday?

reason i started doing concepting in vrchat is so that its hard for me to make shapes, meaning its easier for a kid to redraw it on paper. this i believe helps in shape. my drawing is not great in it's self. https://t.co/VqXW4FZrrP

Artists! I'm curious! What do your sketches look like when you're coming up with ideas? I'm not a line-based thinker so I go straight in with color and shapes, example below is the Bruce Lee illustration I made for espn!

Right drawing is from last August
Better anatomy, posing, shapes, details etc.
Really proud how much I've improved over the course of almost an entire year
Both are Ezra btw, left one a bit aged up + for a non Fire Emblem Story
Makes me really happy to see how much I've improved

Thanks, Lee! I've been looking at Bernie Fuchs' work for some inspiration, I love how he uses color gradations across grouped shadow shapes, it's so so good.
