These are two pieces highlighting Paul Atreides and Chani from It was a blast creating these sketches as one used traditional materials while the other was illustrated digitally.

Great to discover more about Alison Pilkington's characterful paintings bustling with personality as Artist of the Month for Contemporary British Painting; a monthly feature highlighting one of its members.

I’m highlighting my Saturn sticker today because when I first made it people told me that no one would want it but I’ve actually gotten a lot of compliments on it and a good amount of sales on it and I’m proud! https://t.co/ppb4mUYRfC

Thanks for highlighting her work (& what a restaging; had to do a triple take to tell your brilliant photo apart from her spotlighted quilt). https://t.co/60EVKUk4Nc

OH! Used some downloaded brushes to make highlighting hair much faster for comic pages and these are the winners I think!

kicks off September by highlighting favorite authors. This Freas piece for Lois McMaster Bujold's novella "Labyrinth" graced the August '89 Analog cover. It was my introduction to Bujold and her Vorkosigan saga. Within one year, both sat atop my list of favorites.

I try to not post commissioned work much because of that reason, regrettably its already happened before (F-List). I know I can't police the internet forever and all OCs are fair game to them. :c If you do see my Chey being used thanks for looking and highlighting it to me. c:

I've been wanting to draw more lately while also practicing different coloring/highlighting/shading techniques when this happened...

Not done yet, but you can see where this is going...

Sketched awhile ago and left because I didn’t feel I’d developed the right techniques to paint it with justice...
I’ve been playing with the use of values; highlighting to guide the eye, and came back to it on one of my streams. - Lockdown is tough and I miss this one. 💔

This is his base skin tone! But keep in mind that this is before any shadows/highlighting work is done, so it's rarely this exact shade!
